This piece was born from a single comment at a tulip festival. A woman looked out at the field and said, "I love the light yellow and soft pink tulips so much" — and those words stayed with me. I went home with a camera full of inspiration and a head full of color, and I let her words guide my palette into something softer and more delicate than I usually reach for.
I painted her outside in the sunshine, birds singing, my mom nearby in the garden planting sunflower seeds. The whole experience was pure joy — exploring the relationship between color, texture, and light while the world bloomed around me.
