This piece was inspired by a photo my mom took of rainbow eucalyptus trees while visiting Maui with my family. After finishing a sunset painting for my mom, I walked through our home and saw the photo hanging in our entryway — and immediately felt inspired by the unbelievable colors and movement of these trees.
I grabbed a fresh canvas, brought it outside, and started painting purely from feeling and color. This piece came to life so naturally and reminded me why I love creating so much. The layers of vibrant color, movement, and texture were meant to capture the magic and energy I felt standing beneath those trees.
